Nichole Madonna Studio has transformed to meet my vast creating needs as well as provide creative services to local people and businesses in hopes to form a deep connection between art and the public. I love to paint, embroider, problem-solve and plan unique installations, window displays and workshop events.
As an artist, I feel compelled to create something personal to me, and my viewers. Some of the themes in my artwork are reality and experiences, form and process. I transcribe my thoughts, memories, visions, delusions, and experiences into visual and tangible objects. More specifically, my works explore simplified organic forms, orbs, circular arcs, and ellipses that are composed in a cyclical manner.
My experiences transform into multi-media works, which may include paint, pastel, glass, clay, wax mediums, ink and a wide variety of charcoal. Line as character, shape and color relationships are important to me, as well as movement across the page, space and pattern.
I grew up in Lancaster, Pa., and graduated with a BFA from Pa. College of Art and Design. I currently live, work and create in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
